Book Review: War by LP Lovell and Stevie J. Cole

The kind of life I’ve lived, it haunts you. Stains you. Destroys you. It took everything from me. My love. My family… my transgressions were paid with Tor and Cayla’s blood and I want revenge. Blood. Death. His head in my hands.
I’ve lost everything, and all that’s left to do is end the men who took them from me.

Betrayal. Secrets. Vengeance.

This is war.

War is a exactly what you get! This story was insane. Seriously, this story blew me away. It is an emotional roller coaster ride from the beginning to the end.  The internal turmoil is enough to drive you to tears. Betrayal, vengeance, sacrifice leads Jude and Tor into a fight for their daughter's life.

War is the fourth book in the Wrong series however you can begin with Wire, book three, and follow along with the current story line. The story revolves around sacrifice made for family, Jude and Tor have to make difficult decision in order to keep their daughter safe. There are two Mexican warring cartels and one manipulative Russian that holds the fate of of Cayla, their daughter. Jude and Tor are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to save their daughter not only from their enemies but also from themselves.

This story is one hell of a crazy ride. It's dark, dangerous and explosive. 5 Stars!

Book Review Seven Days by LP Lovell & Stevie J. Cole

One contract. Two guys. Three players. Four strikes. Five rules. Six zeros. Seven days.

No safe words. Are you game?

Seven Days is the grand finale of the series and it's just what I expected a truly depraved and twisted ending.  I loved it!

Ella returns to her home and discovers that nothing changed including her boyfriend Sawyer. Just when she thinks she's lost her mind she discovers an invitation for a job interview that returns her to the beginning of the game. Ella heads for her final test and a surprise that could destroy them all. The ending is perfectly warped. 5 Stars!!

Book Review: SIX ZEROS By LP Lovell & Stevie J Cole

One contract.
Two guys.
Three players.
Four strikes.
Five rules.
Six zeros.
Seven days.
No safe words.
Are you game?

Six Zeros is book six in The Game Series. This series is dark, intense and twisted! The authors are sadist who like to mess with our heads.

This story continues to twist and turn, playing with our minds. Ella state of mind is questionable at this point. She's still in the game but who the hell knows how she's holding on. Three has his turn with Ella and it's messy. Preston's feelings for Ella only become stronger. He's ready to take her away. The ending leaves us unsettled. I think I'm going to start pulling my hair out if I don't get book seven soon! 5 Stars

Book Review: Three Players by LP Lovell and Stevie J Cole

Three Players: The Game Series
One contract. Two guys. Three Players. Four strikes. Five rules. Six zeros. Seven days.

No safe words.

Are you game?

Three Players is book three in the continuation of The Game Series. The story continues it's dark, manipulating theme. Day three takes Ella further into a world of madness. She's led to the brink of insanity.

"They leave me feeling manipulated and crazed, wanted and yet cast aside. And I get so caught up in the temptation, the drive for pleasure, that I forget this is merely a game and I am a toy, and that when they have me right where they want me, they'll abandon me."

The story is intense. The ending sent my mind spinning. I can't wait for the continuation. The authors are taunting us with small morsels, leaving us on edge much like Ella throughout the series.

Book Review: One Contract by LP Lovell & Stevie J. Cole

One Contract (The Game Book 1)
One contract. Two guys. Three players. Four strikes. Five rules. Six figures. Seven days.

No safe words.

Are you game?

One Contract is book one of seven in The Game Series. It's intriguing, dirty and deceptive. One Contract is a quick novella but reader beware it will melt your panties.

Ella Taylor is in a bad financial situation. She lost her job, her boyfriend has broken up with her and moved out. She's being evicted and has no where to go. To her surprise she receives a letter inviting her to interview with Tobias Benton, CEO of Six-degrees. The interview moves from business to personal. Ella's seduced into a contract to play a game.

We offer you a salvation not many are afforded. One million dollars for a mere seven days of your life.

Rules aligned within the contract, not to be broken, are as follow:
1) Never Leave
2) Never ask question
3) Never speak of this
4) Never develop feelings
5) Always submit

Ella accepts and it's game on! But there's a catch, she only has four strikes. If she breaks the rules four times the game ends and Ella walks away with nothing.

What an intense start to this edgy mini series! There's also a dark cliff hanger to keep you wanting more.  5 Stars! Next up Two Guys. Give Me, Give Me, Give Me!

*****5 Stars***** Review: Ruined (She Who Dares #4) by LP Lovell

Ruined (She Who Dares, #4)

Hugo
I like to fuck. A lot. Anywhere, anyway, as long as I’m shooting my load in or on some pretty young thing I’m good. In fact, scrap that, they don’t even have to be pretty. What can I say? I’m an equal opportunities kind of guy.
I pride myself on being able to turn even the most self-respecting woman into a dirty slut. I make no apologies for my life or my behaviour. I don’t care about anyone really, certainly not women.
Except her. I care about her, which is why I pushed her away.

Molly
I suppose I’m what you would call the good girl, the sensible one. I’m that girl, the romanticist. I believe in ‘the one’, in that all-encompassing love that leaves you unable to breathe without it.
The thing is though, love is an uncontrollable animal. The heart often declares war on the mind, and even the most rational being can become completely consumed by love.

Sometimes rational is boring. It’s the taste of the wild side that makes you remember you’re alive.

The heart wants what the heart wants, even if you end up completely ruined in the process.

Ruined is book four in the She Who Dares series, but can be read as a standalone.

I love manwhore stories! 'Ruined' is a story of a manwhore, Hugo Harrison, who doesn't have a reason to grow-up. Hugo has it all, money, successful businesses, women at his beck and call, and good friends. Hugo obsessively enjoys sex, he doesn't go a day without it. He's a commitment phobe, as soon as there is any sign of feelings Hugo run for the hills. Molly and Hugo had several trysts and when Molly shares her feelings, Hugo in turns pushes her away.

Molly is a good girl, a good friend and a romantic. She was burned by Hugo in the past but when she needed him most, he was there for her. She sees beyond his facade, "Under all his womanising bullshit, he's actually a good guy. We become the most unlikely of friends." Although they have developed a friendship, they are still attracted to one another and have a deep down connection they struggle to avoid.

Hugo struggles with his self worth. He thinks of himself as a bad boy and not good enough for Molly. He uses sex as an emotional outlet. Hugo's lack of commitment pushes Molly into the arm of  Alex, her security blanket.

Molly struggles with her feelings for two men."Alex is lovely, and I adore him. He's like a warm fire on a cold night, but he will never be the wild flame that is Hugo. He'll also never burn me. There's always a trade-off." Molly has to make a difficult decision, to follow her heart or settle for the safe bet. In the end Molly discovers "Love is war. She who dares...wins."

'Ruined' is funny, steamy, heart-wrenching, and delivers. This story had me annoyed, angry, laughing, and cheering for a HEA. Molly is a fighter, she follows her heart but knows when to walk away. Hugo is a real manwhore. He has issues that he avoids by having sex with half of London. Although they are an unlikely couple, the heart knows what it wants.
