Review: Feel (Sovereign, #3) by B.J. Harvey

Feel (Sovereign, #3)
I’m in love with two men. One came crashing into my life like a whirlwind, equal parts thrill and destruction. The other is like a calm sea, weathering the storm with me, offering me comfort and stability and promising to fight for me until the bitter end.

I have to make a decision. Who do I choose?

Barrett Matthews is a force to be reckoned with, and he has made it his mission to win me over.

Aiden Lawrence has had a piece of my heart from the very beginning and has never let me down.

Both men can make me happy; both men can keep me safe.

In the end, my heart will break whoever I choose.

My only hope is that I can survive the decision I make.

WOW! Feel is the final installment in the Sovereign series and it's filled with deceit, angst and some unexpected twists and turns. Alyssa's story grows more complicated. Her Mother has married a man who may not be who he seems. She also has two men bidding for her love and only one will come out on top. Who will Alyssa choose,  her constant confidant, Aiden? Or the man who she feels a strong connection with, Barrett?

I love serials. Although they are shorter and cliffy till the end, serial are usually fast paced and leave you wanting more. B.J. Harvey does a fantastic job with both aspects. I really enjoyed Alyssa's story. She's had to make tough decisions while her world is turned upside down. I couldn't wait for the conclusion and it did not disappoint!  B.J.Harvey, now that I'm addicted to your serials, I can't wait for more! 5 Stars!

Review: Taste by B.J. Harvey

Taste (Sovereign, #2)

He came, he saw and he almost conquered, but she had the last laugh—or did she?

Back home in Seattle, Alyssa Jacobs—haunted by the thought of what could’ve been—buries herself in her work, determined to never become a target for anyone ever again. Then, as if right on cue, Barrett Matthews storms back into her life, muddling her mind and teasing her heart, determined to win her over.

Unable to trust him with anything other than her body, she vows to protect herself and what she has now discovered is her biggest vulnerability.

What happens when the tables are turned and the hunted becomes the hunter? And with deception and greed taking center stage, where will Alyssa turn in her time of need?

Taste is book two of a new three part romance serial from USA Today Bestselling Author B.J. Harvey.

Taste is the second installment of The Sovereign Series and it begins to unravel the mysterious Barrett and an unexpected love triangle. Oh yes, a hot steamy love triangle. I'm choosing now, #TeamBarrett
Taste picks up right after Touch with Alyssa Jacobs hiding out in a hotel. After a quick make-out session with Barrett, Alyssa returns to Seattle. She struggles denying her feelings towards Barrett and finds herself  latching on to her casual sex partner, Aiden.
“Aiden was determined to show me that he truly wanted more from me. In all honesty, he’d always been showing me that. It was just that this time, I actually took notice and realized that I wanted it as much as he did.”

Alpha Aiden steps in as a protector. Their relationship blossoms however for Alyssa there is still lingering fireworks for Barrett.  When Alyssa discovers the truth about Barrett, she feels betrayed. She also discovers her intuition regarding her Mother’s new husband is right on the money.  Life takes Alyssa on a high speed race to find answers before she loses everything.
I can’t wait for the final installment! I need answers! BJ Harvey has me hanging by the seat of my pants. I love how she teases us with tidbits, keeping us guessing and wanting more. 5 The Truth is Out There Stars!

Review: Touch (Sovereign, #1) by B.J. Harvey

Touch (Sovereign, #1)
It started on a plane, a first class connection that spilled over into a lustful date on a rooftop.

She's very open, he's intriguingly mysterious with wicked intentions, all of which she wants directed her way.

Can she trust that feeling of heady lust that leaves her aching for his touch, or is there more to it when it comes to Barrett "Bullseye" Matthews.

Touch is book one of a new three part romance serial from USA Today Bestselling Author B.J. Harvey.

I'm a huge fan of mini-series so I was excited when I read the blurb. Touch does not fail to deliver. I love how it innocently, not so innocently begins on a plane. The heat was on from the very beginning. You can feel the electricity in the air between the two main characters.

While Alyssa Jacobs is on her way to Vegas, she finds time to flirt with a mysterious stranger. He entices her to play a little game, however he vanishes before they can get started. Surprisingly, she meets up with him again at her hotel and they enjoy a seductive dinner together. Alyssa senses Barrett Matthews is holding back and she soon discovers more than she bargained for.

I can't say enough, other than you need to read this book. Barrett is seductive, naughty, mysterious and sexy.  He will keep you turning the pages, wanting more. BJ Harvey does a fantastic job pulling you in, making the mysterious sexy and then abruptly forcing you back to reality. I can't wait for the next book, seriously the cliff hanger hurts. 5 Bullseye Stars!

Review: Crave by B.J. Harvey

Crave

I have a craving.
A dark urge I’ve failed to resist despite years of trying to do that very thing.
I’ve forced myself to hide behind a mask, a perfect orchestration to hide my true self.
After I met her, my wants and needs, my inner most desires changed.
She encouraged me to embrace who I truly am, and she was willing to do anything and everything I wanted, giving herself to satisfy my most carnal appetite.
Then everything in my carefully managed world came crashing down around me. A moment in time, a loss of control, and the very thing I cherish was nearly taken from me.
My fate now lies in her hands.
The very life I’ve built for myself…everything I’ve ever done now waits in purgatory, all caused by a lack of focus at a time when my most concentrated attention was needed.
The very thing I crave may now be the end of me.

BJ Harvey taunts us with secrets, twists, and hidden agendas.

Callum Alexander is a man of mystery, he wears a public mask to hide his true nature. He has a certain proclivity that he keeps to himself.

"Very few people get an insight into the real Callum Alexander- my family and my best friend, but that's all. Everyone else gets this Callum, the well-respected, well-regarded, successful man living the American dream."

Callum momentarily meets Lucia and feels a spark. After a second chance meeting  they finding themselves drawn to each other, Callum and Lucia fall into a steamy relationship, however Callum keeps his true nature to himself, fearing the worst.

That's until a scorned reporter, who's advances were rebuffed by Callum, decides to unravel the enigma.  Callums world begin to shatter. His business is jeopardized. When he reveals his dark secret to Lucia, will she accept the real man or run for safety?

The story was hard to put down, a real page turner. It was angsty with a touch of adrenaline. I loved Lucia's strength and fighter attitude. She knows what she wants and doesn't step aside because of Callum's fears. You're going to love her. The ending is a twist with a hidden agenda.

Review: Finding Bliss (Bliss, #4) by B.J. Harvey

Finding Bliss (Bliss, #4)

The End of an Era

They call me the walking dildo.

Gratifying? Yes.

Something my mother would be proud of? Hell no!

Watching my best friend and my old friend-with-benefits blissfully walk down the aisle has just reiterated the fact that I’m thirty and perpetually single.

I thought I’d found the woman I wanted to spend my life with, you have to open your eyes to realize that it’s never gonna happen.

Funny how meeting the right person can finally make you see sense.

My name is Noah Taylor: kickass trauma surgeon, closet idealist, wishful thinker, and all round cocky asshole, and this is the year my life will change for the better.

*Disclaimer: This book features hot sex, filthy language, misuse of on-call rooms and the overdue redemption of the fake orgasm*
(less)

Finding Bliss is a romantic, sexy comedy about a cocky trauma surgeon who finally finds the one, well after he thought he found the one.

Dr. Noah Taylor is a trauma surgeon/walking dildo. Yes, his junk has made him famous. Noah was seeing a woman and want to move forward with their relationship. Unbeknownst to Noah, he was in a booty call relationship, nothing more nothing less. It's only when she explained that "This, this I can do. We meet up; we have sex. It's awesome; it's good. We both get off and go our merry little way." does Noah decide to end the relationship and move on. He's thirty years old and ready to move his life forward.

Noah moves his life forward with a bang, or should I say a drunken kiss at his friends wedding. Unknowingly, Noah again meets the woman who he shared the drunken kiss at work, he forgotten it had occurred. When they meet sparks once again fly. She's perfect for the good doctor, she friendly funny, and challenging. Now he has to convince her he's no longer just a walking dildo.(She/Her is a secret, you'll have to discover for yourself.)

It's not only Noah's reputation that hinders their future relationship but also a secret she's not willing to reveal because she doesn't want to be a burden.

The story is funny and sweet. If you have not read the previous books in this series it takes time sorting out all the characters. In the end you feel like you're part of the family. I enjoyed the bantering, teasing and sexy scenes. I was frustrated with the heroine, the secret she kept did not only put herself in danger but also everyone else around her. Noah is a great character, he's moved on from his old ways and wants to find the right person. I loved when he walk away from the booty call. He gave a heart felt speech that built his character. Over all I really enjoyed the story. You will definitely laugh and find a HEA.
