Book Review: The King's Innocent Bride by Alexa Riley

39920667

Kate was forced to live with her uncle when she was little and was kept locked away. Then one night she found out her uncle was going to use her as collateral in a bet, and she knew she had to break free. But when she did, she never imagined she’d run straight into trouble with the king.

James is ruler of all that’s around him, and he has to keep the peace in his kingdom. When a trespasser is brought before him, he isn’t prepared for what happens next. He’s ready to stake his claim and take what he wants. He’s the king, after all.

Insta-love Royal style! Another insta-love pick-me-up by Alexa Riley. I love these short, sexy and sweet novellas. The King's Innocent Bride fulfilled my need for a quickie.

After Kate's grandmother passed away, she moved in with her evil uncle. When Kate turned eighteen she knew it was time to run. Her uncle was up to some dubious dealings in which her name was included. So Kate ran with no real plans.  Her uncle was hot on her trail when they were captured for trespassing on royal land.

When Kate and her uncle are brought in front of the king, sparks fly! I enjoyed James and Kate's sweet and sexy story. 4Stars
