Book Review: Michael: A Scrooged Christmas by F.G. Adams

Michael: A Scrooged Christmas

Do holiday wishes really come true?

For kindergarten teacher, Holly Mary Edwards, she’s banking on a miracle when the man of her dreams returns from duty abroad.

Decorated army doctor, Michael Barnes, is not ready to face the holiday season after his fiancĂ© leaves him for another man. Michael is convinced it’s time to put happiness in a tight little box and ship it back to the North Pole.

He wasn't expecting Holly. And when the sexy Holly-jolly nymph takes it upon herself to divest him of his Mr. Scrooged attitude, she'll do anything to bring him into the jingle bell jolly.

Can Holly convince him ‘tis the season for love?

I was looking for a Holiday pick-me-up and Michael: A Scrooged Christmas did the trick! Time to cozy up with a cup of hot chocolate for this sweet, heart mending quickie.

Michael Barnes is struggling with the holidays. He had enjoyed Christmas until his fiancé left him for another man. Now he can't wait for the holiday to be over.

Holly Mary Edwards is a Christmas baby. She's filled with the Christmas spirit when she's not tripping over her own two feet. Holly hasn't seen Michael for years but that comes to an end when she crashes on top of him while shopping.

"There are three stages of a man's life: He believes in Santa Claus, he doesn't believe in Santa Claus, he is Santa Claus." Michael Barnes

Holly had a crush on Michael when she was younger. She knew Michael when he had enjoyed the holidays. Now, she can't help to want to solve Michael's Christmas woes. She plans on bringing happiness back into his life in the best possible ways.

I enjoy this quickie and plan on reading it again. It is a good reminder to not harp on the past but learn from it and move on. 4 Stars
