Book Review: Hands Off by Kayti McGee

Image may contain: one or more people and text

Charity has a bit of a nervous tic... she steals things. It's not normally a problem, because she doesn't tend to get very nervous around her stable of book boyfriends. But when she accidentally goes on a blind date with a cop, albeit the hottest cop alive, she can't seem to stop herself from grabbing everything in sight.

Leo wants a family, not a criminal record. But there's something about the curvy bombshell of a thief he's been set up with that he can't stop thinking about. Or falling into bed with.

He needs to keep his hands off of her. She needs to keep her hands off of... literally everything.

There's no hope for a cop and a klepto.

Or is there?

I love, love Kayti McGee. I've said it before and I'll say it again, she makes me laugh like no other. My cheeks hurt from all the laughing and smiling. Sometimes you just need to let your hair down and read a good rom-com, look no further Hands Off will have you snorting.

Charity finds a post-it in her planner with dinner plans. She doesn't remember the post-it but that's why she writes them because she always forgets. To her surprise Charity's post-it had been hijacked by her friend Melissa, who has set-up her up on a blind date with a sexy cop, Officer Leo Watson.

Charity has a nervous tic, she's a kleptomaniac. This blind date quickly turns into an anxiety ridden comedy. Even as Charity attempts to escape Officer Leo Watson quickly moves into action by kidnapping, banging, arresting and re-kidnapping her all in one night. Their non-relationship turns into a hate-sex partnership because they can't keep their hands off each other.

Can a cop and a klepto make it work? This story will make you laugh, snort, and smile until your cheeks hurt. Boo yah! 5 Stars!
