Book Review: Dirty Letters by Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward

I’d never forgotten him—a man I’d yet to meet.

Griffin Quinn was my childhood pen pal, the British boy who couldn’t have been more different from me. Over the years, through hundreds of letters, we became best friends, sharing our deepest, darkest secrets and forming a connection I never thought could break.

Until one day it did.

Then, out of the blue, a new letter arrived. A scathing one—one with eight years of pent-up anger. I had no choice but to finally come clean as to why I stopped writing.

Griffin forgave me, and somehow we were able to rekindle our childhood connection. Only now we were adults, and that connection had grown to a spark. Our letters quickly went from fun to flirty to downright dirty, revealing our wildest fantasies. So it only made sense that we would take our relationship to the next level and see each other in person.

Only Griff didn’t want to meet. He asked that I trust him and said it was for the best. But I wanted more—more Griff, in the flesh—so I took a big chance and went looking for him. People have done crazier things for love.

But what I found could change everything.

There's not enough stars for Dirty Letters. Dirty Letters brings all the feels and all the tears. I couldn't not put this book down. The heroine gutted me. I cried with her. I cried for her. The authors never fail to bring all the emotions and Dirty Letters takes it to the next level.

After Luca Vinetti received a scathing letter from her childhood pen pay, she decided that it's time to write him back with the truth. The painful truth of why she stopped writing eight years ago. Their pen pal relationship rekindles and quickly evolved to the next level. It wasn't long before Luca wanted to meet Griff. Griff asked her to have blind faith in him and wait until he was ready to meet but Luca had other plans.

Although Luca is a recluse, suffering from agoraphobia and anxiety, her doctor convinces her to follow her heart and drive across county to find Griff. Who she finds is the complete opposite of what she had expected. Their worlds couldn't be any different.
Luca's fears and anxiety have dictated her life for eight years. Griff tries to give Luca what she needs but sometimes love is not enough.

OMG! My heart broke into a million pieces. I cried, read some more and cried even harder. The second half of the story was intense. Dirty Letters is by far the best book I read this year! 5+++ Stars
