Book Review: REPEAT by Kylie Scott

43101417

When a vicious attack leaves 25-year-old Clementine Johns with no memory, she's forced to start over. Now she has to figure out who she was and why she made the choices she did - which includes leaving the supposed love of her life, tattoo artist Ed Larsen, only a month before.

Ed can hardly believe it when his ex shows up at his tattoo parlor with no memory of their past, asking about the breakup that nearly destroyed him. The last thing he needs is more heartache, but he can't seem to let her go again.

Should they walk away for good, or does their love deserve a repeat performance?

Repeat is one of the best books I have read this year. It is a second chance love story with a twist.  The second chance comes in the form of amnesia leaving the heroine reborn.

I could not help but to fall in love with the heroine. Clementine 'Clem' Johns was attacked and left with no memories of her past. She has to start all over, she's reborn. Clem has to figure out who she was and who she is now. Clem soon discovers that she recently had a disastrous break-up with her ex Ed Larsen. She slowly pieces together their past while rebuilding their relationship. Ed can't help but to keep his heart guarded after the break-up.  Clem's a different person, no longer holding back her thoughts or concerns. Their chemistry reignites but is it enough?

Repeat is not a long story but it filled with heart. It was easy to get lost in Ed and Clem's story. 5 Stars
