Book Review: Viper by Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank

44288396

Scorching chemistry. Red-hot lyrics. An irresistible bad boy.
Halo, the new lead singer for Fallen Angel, never stood a chance against Viper, the legendary lead guitarist for the band.

From the moment Halo set foot in Viper’s lair, the match was lit, threatening to consume the two men with the heat of their desire. But when their casual flings begins to morph into more, will it leave the entire band in flames?

After all, it may have been Halo who fell from grace, but it’s only a matter of time before Viper falls for an angel.

Viper is the second book in the Fallen Angel trilogy and the continuation of Viper and Halo's developing relationship with a subplot of their band's transformation. I may have melted a few times while enjoying Viper.

While recording their first album as a new band, Viper and Halo's relationship begins to intensify. Viper, our eternal playboy, avoider of relationships, can't seem to keep his emotions in check when he's with Halo. Viper had planned on keeping it a casual fling. He doesn't want a repeat of past failed relationships. Halo, our romantic, can't put aside his feelings. He has come into his own and is ready to take the next step. The question is can they find a middle ground?

I loved the last chapter! I swooned when Viper surprised me with his decree. Oh and the cover! It deserves it's own 5 Stars!  I can't wait for the final book. I'm not sure how the authors will be able to top off this sexy trilogy. 5 Stars
