Halo is book 1 in this Rock Romance trilogy. I want to start with the cover. It fits the book to the tee. I stopped reading the story several times to stare at the cover. I usually don't give the cover much thought but the authors did an excellent job finding their Halo. Halo is a sexy, lip biting, slow burn.

TBD is in a lurch because their lead singer Trent Knox left the band. You may recognize Trent from A little bit of Desire by Brook Blaine. Now without a lead singer the band is screwed.

In steps Halo, a stunning singer, a talented musician with good looks to match. The big question is he going to be enough for the band to overcome the lose of their much loved previous lead singer.

However there's another twist to this rock star story. Viper, the lead guitarist/resident bad boy, isn't sure he can handle himself around Halo. His attraction to the lead singer is off the charts even though Halo is straight. The band needs Halo as much as Halo needs the band. Can Viper and Halo figure out their chemistry in time to save the band?

Halo slowly turns up the heat to a perfect 10. The story ends in a cliffy but it's not painful. Bring on book 2! 5 Stars

I read When August Ends in one sitting. I laughed, I swooned, but most importantly I fell in love. The story has all the feels.

Heather Chadwick's family summer rental has a new tenant, Noah Cavallari. Heather lost her filter around the very handsome but mysterious tenant. She can't seem to keep away, even after Noah made it clear that he wasn't interested. Noah can't move past their age difference and his failed marriage.

Heather had taken on the responsibility of her mother's caretaker, leaving behind her dreams of going to college until Noah. Noah sparks life back into Heather's ambitions. Their friendship develops over the summer into much more. Heather can't imagine what life will be like when august ends.
