Book Review: American Queen by Sierra Simone

American Queen (New Camelot Trilogy, #1)

It starts with a stolen kiss under an English sky, and it ends with a walk down the aisle. It starts with the President sending his best friend to woo me on his behalf, and it ends with my heart split in two. It starts with buried secrets and dangerous desires…and ends with the three of us bound together with a hateful love sharper than any barbed wire.

My name is Greer Galloway, and I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States.

This is the story of an American Queen.

American Queen is an intensely erotic tale of forbidden love.

5 Stars, 5 Stars, 5 Stars! If you were on the fence about reading American Queen, jump off and get reading. I couldn't put it down. It came highly recommended and now I understand why. The story is an erotic tale of forbidden love between three people. Two being the most powerfully people in the free world and one who willingly gives over her freedom.

Greer Galloway is the granddaughter of a previous vice-president.  She's grown up around the political world and learned how to read people. After a early warning to keep her kisses to herself, Greer does just that except for two men. One the future President of the United States and the second the future Vice-President of the United States. After they break her heart, she chooses to delve into her career to stay safe from future heart break. That's until she's summoned. Summoned back to the two men that had broke her. The problem the man who summoned her, Maxen 'Ash' Colchester doesn't know that she slept with his best friend/VP, Embry Moore.  The complication is intense.

The story ends in a cliff hanger. The good news is that the next book, American Prince is available so no waiting necessary.  I can't wait to delve in.
