Book Review: Her Dirty Boss by Phoebe Frost

Her Dirty Boss
I just found out my new boss is the one-night-stand I ran out on last month...

It was a Friday night when I met him. I was handing out flutes of Cristal to Boston's 1%, dressed in a tiny little lace number that fell two inches shy of indecent exposure. One look at him and I knew he wasn't like the other guys there.

He had a roughness about him that lurked underneath his Prada suit. I could see it in the predatory way his eyes followed me, the way he made it clear that the only thing I'd be working for the remainder of my break was him.

I didn't even get his name before he had me backed up against the balcony's railing, breathless and in way over my head. And when our tryst was interrupted, I ran off, embarrassed. It's been weeks since I've seen him and just when I think I'm over it, I run into him again.

Turns out the mystery man from the balcony is my new boss, and he's made it very clear we're going to finish what we started. I should really try and be professional, but it seems like the only words I'm capable of saying around him are, "Yes, sir."

Looking for a quick, dirty HEA? My Dirty Boss is a steamy, insta-love romance. Even blurb on the cover is oh so naughty, He's rich. He's Hung. He's her dirty boss. The story is trope fueled. I loved it!

While on a work break Stella Moretti had a brief encounter with a gorgeous man. When their steamy tryst was unfortunately interrupted, Stella ran and never returned.

Stella is in transition, or better said, has no idea what she wants to do with her life. What she does know is that she wants a career. When her aunt announced during a family dinner that she needed a temporary replacement while she on leave from work, Stella jumped at the opportunity.

As it turns out her naughty tryst is now also her dirty older boss. His thirty-eight to her twenty-two. Although Clayton Castle is not interested in relationships, he finds himself drawn to his new assistant. When Stella calls him Sir, Clayton can't stay away.

Although this is a short story I felt the author did a good job developing the characters. This is Phoebe Frost's debut book and it's a good start. I enjoyed the quickie and can't wait for what comes next. 4 Stars
