Book Review: Bound to Submit by Laura Kaye

Bound to Submit (Blasphemy, #1)
From the ruins of an abandoned church comes Baltimore’s hottest and most exclusive BDSM club. Twelve Masters. Infinite fantasies. Welcome to Blasphemy...

He thinks he caused her pain, but she knows he’s the only one who can heal her…

Kenna Sloane lost her career and her arm in the Marines, and now she feels like she’s losing herself. Submission is the only thing that ever freed her from pain and made her feel secure, and Kenna needs to serve again. Bad. The only problem is the Dom she wants once refused her submission and broke her heart, but, scarred on the inside and out, she’s not looking for love this time. She’s not even sure she’s capable.

Griffin Hudson is haunted by the mistakes that cost him the only woman he ever loved. Now she’s back at his BDSM club, Blasphemy, and more beautiful than ever, and she’s asking for his help with the pain he knows he caused. Even though he’s scared to hurt her again, he can’t refuse her, because he’d give anything to earn a second chance. And this time, he’ll hold on forever.

Bound to Submit is an emotional, second chance love story. Kenna Sloane returns to Blasphemy seeking solace from the pain and grief that plagues her daily. Five years ago she left her Dom after he rejected her love and joined the Marines. While she was a Marine she simultaneously had lost her arm and her best friend. She's suffering from survivors remorse and has locked everyone out of her life.

Griffin Hudson is a Dom and co-owner of Blasphemy. It was five years ago when the women he loved left and never returned. She had opened her heart up to him and he pushed her away. Now five years later Kenna has returned but she's has created wall to keep her heart safe. Griffin is determined to win Kenna back. He'll give her the relief she's seeking hoping for more. What will happen when he puts the pieces of Kenna's departure together? Can he move past the hurt and bind Kenna to him?

The story is heartwarming and emotional. Kenna's struggle brought tears to my eyes. Griffin is one crazy Dom, he had Kenna tattooed on his back after he lost her. That takes balls.  4 Stars!
