Review: Detecting Lust by Mikey Lee

Seth Lane is the best SVU Detective the precinct has to offer. He’s smart, determined and has a seriously impressive closing rate. He’s also sexy as hell and married to Zee, a woman who not only understands his demanding job but supports him in doing whatever is necessary to close the case.

But when he meets the newest victim of a brutal attack, Seth has to use every resource he has to find the suspect - and fast. Every clue he collects is a step towards closing the case, but he’s shocked when the biggest clue of all comes with the help of his wife. Thrown headfirst into the case, Seth must follow the evidence to apprehend the suspect before he hits again.




 

 

Detecting Lust reminds me of a naughty detective television series found on a premium station. Definitely a premium station so that I can get a full view of the detective in all his glory. It's a short story about a smart, sexy detective who solves cases quickly in order to bring closure to the victim.

Seth Lane knows how to close a case fast however his newest case brings unexpected challenges. He meets the challenges head on and with the steamy assistance he receives from his wife, Seth may find the break he needs to solve the case.

I enjoyed the short novel, it was a change of pace from most erotic novels. Seth and Zee are happily married, they support and enjoy each other. Seth makes the world safer and sexier. It's the right combination of steamy and intriguing. I can't wait for further books in the series. 4 Stars!
