“You said I should come prepared, professor." She wriggles beneath me.
I bring my hand down on her bare ass, just sharp enough to make her feel it, not enough to leave a mark. She inhales sharply, her hips bucking.
“And have you, Ms. Reed? Or will I need to reprimand you more thoroughly?”
When Harper Reed came to Oxford, her dream was to study modern poetry with the infamous Professor Jack Kingston, NOT to sleep with him. But his lectures are intoxicating, his knowledge captivating, and his accent drops panties faster than Charlie Hunnam on a Saturday night.
Harper has never made good decisions when it comes to sex and Jack has never been able to commit, yet there’s something between them that neither of them has felt before. But students and teachers are not supposed to fraternize, even as this out of control connection puts both of their futures on the line.
When their forbidden love is tested, can they make the grade?
I was very excited that Teach Me was a story about a very sexy professor, it turns out he's not just any sexy professor but a very sexy, British poetry professor. I really love this story, it's well written, filled with emotions and pulled at my heart strings. Lola Darling's writing overwhelms my senses with her scenic descriptions, over powers my emotions with heart-felt versus and left me walking on air against my better judgment of a professor/student relationship.
Harper Reed is studying abroad at Oxford University. One serendipitous evening inside a confessional she has a moment with a man who turns out to be her new poetry professor. When Harper decides to do the right thing and dis-enroll from the class, she makes a discover that changes everything.
Jack Kingston is the star poetry professor who can't take his hands off of Harper Reed. He does his best to fight off his attraction. He believes that he'll "never be able to give a woman the full package." He doesn't believe he's capable of settling for some polite, gentle, orderly relationship. As it turns out this Alpha male has kink and he has found his match in Harper Reed.
There's much more to this story then a illicit professor/student relationship. It's a very beautiful and sexy story about two people who unexpectedly found each other but first have to resolve their own self doubts before their relationship can move forward. 5 operatic stars!
