Review: Get Lucky by Lila Monroe

Get Lucky

What happens when you wake up in a hotel suite next to a gorgeous naked man with absolutely no memory of the past twelve hours?

I guess it's true what they say. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Or at least I hope it stays here. The Romantic Style convention was meant to be a weekend of raucous fun with friends, sun, and enough poolside margaritas to forget about my ex. But now, instead of meeting my fans and signing books, I'm stuck with cocky divorce lawyer Nate Wexler. He's arrogant, infuriating, and I can't keep my hands off of him. Judging by the state of our hotel room, last night was wild. I just wish I could remember it.

A pair of matching tattoos. A cheap wedding veil. A half empty box of glow in the dark condoms.

What the hell just happened?

Viva Las Vegas! When two opposites attract, mix in champagne and tequila, a crazy night of mayhem ensues.

Vegas is the place to let your hair down and have fun. Julia Stevens is romance author attending The Romantic Style convention. She's ready to enjoy the company of good friends when she runs smack dab into cranky Nate Wexler, an obnoxious divorce attorney. Nate is in Vegas to attend his best friends wedding, even with his anti-love attitude. It isn't love at first sight but it doesn't take more than a few drinks to draw them together.

What ensues next is a drunken escapade including glow in the dark condoms, crazy tattoos, fake abduction, real abduction and a possible wedding.

When Nate and Julia wake up the next morning they struggle to piece together the previous night. They soon discover that they may have had a little too much fun dancing around in the hotel fountain and worry what other mayhem occurred. You won't believe what happens next.

Get Lucky is a sexy rom-com that will keep you laughing until it hurts. I know, I know, another crazy Vegas Story, right? Yes and No . Yes, the story takes place in Vegas and there is plenty of drunken madness but really the answer is No. The craziness allows for Julia and Nate to let down their walls and find what makes them happy. The story is told in both POV, which I really enjoyed. I love Julia, she's a successful, sexy, quirky nerd with a big heart. She doesn't allow her divorce to keep her down. She's even able to win over Nate, the arrogant jerk face and save the day at the end. 5 Stars!
