Faith Graham was nothing like the women he was required to date as an escort—it was what he liked about her from the first time he saw her. She was imperfect and insecure. Her hair was a bit on the wild side, and her clothes were slightly rumpled. But her curves! They were alluring. She had curves where most of the elite clientele he mingled with had straight lines, and not an ounce of softness to be found. Shocking him to his core, she didn’t want anything to do with him.
Joe had always thought that working as an escort for Perfect Ten was a dream come true, but he was beginning to wonder if there was more to life than raking in the cash and having his pick of women on any given night. Could he start over with a new direction in life, or was he already at the age of twenty-six too jaded? Was there more out there for Joe Starling or was he destined to be a boy toy at the whim of any woman rich enough to afford him?
The story starts off strong with a Cinderella vibe, evil mother and two very slender sisters who belittle the heavier sister, Faith Graham. Prince Charming, Joe Starling, doesn't exactly ride in on his white horse but is hired to escort Faith to her sister's wedding so that she doesn't go alone. It's Joe that is blown away by Faith and her sexy curves. He starts to wonder if its time to move on from the escorting service and start over again with Faith by his side. First he has to convince her to take a chance on him.
Faith suffers from low self esteem with the constant belittling she receives from her mom and sisters. She struggles to believe that someone as handsome as Joe would be interested in her. Joe also struggles with the choices he's made and it has effect his self-esteem. There's a little bit of drama after Joe decides to move on from his escorting career and there is also another surprise in store from a past client. The characters are well developed. I felt their struggles and understood their fears. The story is long in my opinion with some unnecessary fillers but over all it's sexy, heart warming and uplifting. 4 Stars!
