Cassie
I can’t stand jocks. And I don’t know the first thing about football.
So it’s just my luck that the tutoring job I take to get me through graduate school involves making sure a dumb jock passes his classes.
Now, I’m babysitting Colton King, a spoiled arrogant player who’s as famous for his bedroom antics as he is for his football skills.
The tight end with the filthy mouth tells me he’ll show me that everything’s bigger in Texas.
And heaven help me, I just might be considering it.

Colton
My life is one giant party, and that’s never going to change.
Not even if my coach finds me a nerdy tutor he thinks will keep me in line.
Miss Goody Two Shoes is uptight, high-strung, and unimpressed by the fact that I’m a campus legend.
Even worse, the hot little tutor is as pure as the driven snow.
Debauching her and making her mine is the ultimate challenge. And I always rise to the occasion.
Let me start by saying I love Colton! Colton's first impression maybe of a dumb, arrogant, playboy jock but it doesn't take Cassie long to find his redeeming qualities. I'm not just talking about all nine inches of them.
Colton is a college football star. His future is laid out before him however if he doesn't pick up his grades he will find himself left out in the cold. Cassie is hired to tutor Colton. She's a grad student who's department has experienced budget cuts, leaving her with less work options. She accepts the well paying tutor position that turns her world upside down.
Tackled is a story of how two opposites attract. Colton the stereotypical college playboy and Cassie the classic nerd. They have very different goals but their chemistry is undeniable. Cassie struggles with her attraction to Colton, not only because he's a playboy but because she's his hired tutor. Colton continues to pursue Cassie, he's not going to give up easily. Colton's character begins a gradual shift from playboy to a one woman man. Cassie lets down her walls and release years of sexual pent up energy. Their relationship moves forward but there is a bumpy road ahead. Can their relationship survive when misunderstandings ensue? I loved the fast pace. The story made me laugh, laugh some more and after the emotional punch it left me smiling. 4 Stars!
