My teeth biting his neck.
His scent on my skin.
My nails carving a path down his back.
His commands whispered in my ear.
All of my senses filled with him.
I knew it was bad. But I craved more.
It had begun innocently enough, bumping into one another in a crowded Boston bar. What followed that night had been anything but innocent.
Because I'd known, even as he'd slid inside of me, that he was my professor. I'd pursued him, a predator stalking its prey.
And he didn't know I was his student.
But he would.
I'm a avid fan of professor romance stories, be it the man behind the glasses who I find compelling or the temptation of the forbidden romance, I always find myself drawn to the premise. Tempting does not let me down. I'm drawn in from the beginning. Nathan is the dashing English professor, glasses and all, who catches his female students attention including one Adele Morello.
Adele Morello is a very interesting character, at first she seems immature, cunning and selfish. She chooses to go after her professor without consequence. As the story progresses we meet the real Adele, the one who is deeply affected by her past and present. I was surprised to find myself feeling empathy for Adele. I was cheering for her as she stood her ground not just with her family but also with Nathan. Nathan deserved what he got and more. (I caught myself saying dickhead under my breath a few times because of Nathan's inability to forgive himself.)
Nathan and Adele find solace with each other. It's a battle of the internal struggles and acceptance. So my professor obsession lives on with Tempting and will continue to smolder awaiting the next Provocative, the continuation of Nathan and Adele's story. 5 Hot for Professor Stars!
