Review: Deep (Stage Dive, #4) by Kylie Scott

Deep (Stage Dive, #4)

Positive. With two little lines on a pregnancy test, everything in Lizzy Rollins' ordinary life is about to change forever. And all because of one big mistake in Vegas with Ben Nicholson, the irresistibly sexy bass player for Stage Dive. So what if Ben's the only man she's ever met who can make her feel completely safe, cherished, and out of control with desire at the same time? Lizzy knows the gorgeous rock star isn't looking for anything more permanent than a good time, no matter how much she wishes differently.

Ben knows Lizzy is off limits. Completely and utterly. She's his best friend's little sister now, and no matter how hot the chemistry is between them, no matter how sweet and sexy she is, he's not going to go there. But when Ben is forced to keep the one girl he's always had a weakness for out of trouble in Sin City, he quickly learns that what happens in Vegas, doesn't always stay there. Now he and Lizzie are connected in the deepest way possible... but will it lead to a connection of the heart?

This is sadly the final novel in the Stage Dive Series by Kylie Scott. I'm going to miss this interesting group of men and the crazy women who love them. You do not need to read the previous book in order to read "Deep" however I do recommend them. I love the whole series. "Deep" does not disappoint.

Lizzy and Ben have a secret fling. Well, it's secret until she discovers she' s pregnant. Let the drama begin! Ben is noncommittal, he's living the life he's dreamed of. Lizzy doesn't want to take away Ben's freedom. She's only looking to be apart of it.

"Ben, I don't want to take your freedom. I just want a place in your world. An important one."

I'm totally blown away by Lizzy. She's 21 and pregnant but continues to do what's right by her and her bean (baby's nickname). When Ben breaks her heart, she dusts herself off and moves forward with her life. Ben has a lot of emotional baggage that he hasn't learned how to deal with. Ben does want to do right by Lizzy and the bean but he struggles and struggles and struggles.
The story is funny and has the right amount of heartache and a make-up sex to keep you turning the pages. I'm hoping for a spin off because Vaughan has caught my attention.
