Review: Brake (Redline, #3) by Skye Callahan

Brake (Redline, #3)

There's no stopping as the bitter feud between brothers, Colt and Devlin, speeds out of control.

From Colt's pawn to Devlin's captive, Aubrey is caught even deeper in their pact to destroy one another. Imprisoned in darkness, she fights for her life--and her sanity. Her only hope is a cocky and sadistic car thief who is already wrestling with his own demons.

Colt swore he'd never end up in this place again. That he'd never be held captive to heroin or rendered helpless by his brother to watch as another life is destroyed. He's ready to tear the city apart to find Aubrey, but that's only if his own mind doesn't tear him apart first.

Lines have been crossed. Promises broken. Souls shattered.
And the worst has only begun.

WOW! This series has me on edge. Two feuding brothers, only one can come out on top. One brother will do anything possible to brake the other and unfortunately Aubrey is his pawn.

Colt is further turning into a dark knight. That's the best way I can explain him. He struggles against his addiction in order to keep his promise to the woman who controls his heart. His brother, Devlin will do anything to drive him over the edge. Devlin is beyond reparation. He's evil incarnate and what he does is twisted and haunting.

I could not put this book down! It's dark, sinister and uncompromising.  Exhaust is the final book in the series and it's heading towards explosive ending!
