Review: Closet Confession by Kindle Alexander

Closet Confession

This stand alone version includes Bonus Scenes adding an additional ten thousand words to this novella. Closet Confession was previously released in the Night Shift Anthology.

Dr. Derek Babineaux is intelligent, dedicated, and one of the best ER physicians in the fast-paced world of critical care at Tulane Medical in New Orleans. Always on top of his game, he's thrown off balance when the newest medical staff member finally unleashes his hidden desires.

Justin Delacroix's job at the inner city's busiest hospital might be just what he needs to ease back into civilian life after a long stint in the military. High-performing shifts make working as a trauma nurse at TMC the perfect way to utilize his skills and quick reaction times. There's only one problem, his attraction for one sexy ER doctor is off the charts, but he has his reasons for not returning Dr. Baby's night shift advances. Or maybe he doesn't.

This is a short story with a bonus scene that really brought it all together. I loved the story and the bonus scene tug at my heart. It's a real heart warmer with some must read, very hot sexy scenes.

Dr. Derek Babineaux has his eyes on one man, Justin Delacroix who is a nurse at the same hospital. Although Justin is no longer in the military he struggles revealing is sexuality because for many years he kept his sexuality secret observing the 'Don't ask don't tell' military policy.  Derek is open about his sexuality at work and enjoys watching Justin flex his muscles helping patients. Can they be hiding a secret?

I really love Justin, he struggles with returning to civilian life and pushing aside his doubts in order to move forward and find happiness. I can feel his internal struggle and it brings the story to life. I'm becoming a big Kindle Alexander fan. Her writing leaves me feeling content.

When I was reading the story, Love me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding popped into my mind. It made the story that much sweeter.
