Review: HARD: For My Best Friend's Sister by Ava Jackson

HARD: For My Best Friend's Sister

The last time I saw her, she was asleep—and I'd just taken her virginity.

She was my best friend's little sister. I'd broken the guy code, and the guilt had me running before she woke.

Ten years later, she's a corporate bad ass negotiating across the table from me—and hotter than ever. I want my second chance, but she's all grown up and isn't about to hand it to me.

This time, I've got a whole different game plan in mind.

* * *

The last time I saw him, he was balls deep inside me—and I'd just lost my virginity. When I woke up he was gone.

Ten years hasn't erased the sting of rejection. And now he wants his second chance?

I swore I'd say no ... but then he made me an offer I couldn't refuse: when we're working, we're strangers, but at night? He'll make my every dirty fantasy come true.

This time, I'm not going to be the one left wanting more.

This is a short, cute, sexy read. Can you move past being hurt, even after ten years of holding a grudge?

Dylan
Sofia Butler is a no nonsense girl. She works hard to be successful, including long nights and holidays. She has an opportunity to further promote. If she can successfully negotiate a profitable business venture, it would help guarantee her a promotion. What she didn't expect was the man on the other side of the table, Cameron Richard. Dylan  has spent the last ten years avoiding her brother’s best friend Cameron Richmond.

“I’d been so crazy about him that I’d given him my virginity … and then I’d woken up to an empty bed and a heart full of regrets. Jerk. Sexy, handsome jerk.”

Cameron wants to end the ten years of avoidance and win Dylan back. Can Dylan forgive or is it just too late?

I really like Cameron, he took the opportunities by the balls and  worked his way back into Dylan's life. Sofia had reached a crossroads in her life. She had a to make a life changing decision, I really liked that she let her good conscience and heart lead the way. The story is a very enjoyable, fast read.
