***** 5 Star Review***** Forbidden Nights (Seductive Nights, #5) by Lauren Blakely

Forbidden Nights (Seductive Nights, #5)

Sinfully sexy hotel CEO Nate Harper knows exactly how to please a woman. He's equally skilled in keeping his heart safe from the kind of hurt his ex inflicted on him years ago. But one thing he's not so good at what-so-ever is getting his mind and all his dirty thoughts off the gorgeous, outgoing, and absolutely captivating Casey Sullivan, the new head of the Joy Delivered company.
They've been friends for years now, and Casey trusts Nate completely. So it makes perfect sense to her to ask him for hands-on guidance when she finds herself in need of some of his romantic expertise.
The trouble is, his heart may be signing up for more than it bargained for when he agrees to help her learn to abandon her need for control in the bedroom. Because as she experiences what it means to let go, he'll start to experience what it means to feel again...

But what happens when all those forbidden nights turn into a deeper connection that's much more than expected?

Review

Lauren Blakely is a master at bringing me to tears. Forbidden night demonstrates what an emotional toll love can take on a person. Nate Harper and Casey Sullivan are two souls who's past relationships are dictating their current loveless lives. Nate, a sexy hotel CEO, keeps his heart in a cage so it can not be hurt again. Casey, a beautiful, strong willed CEO of Joy Delivered, has been accused of being an alpha female and scaring most men. Casey decides to improve her chances at love by acquiring the assistance of her best friend, Nate. Casey wants to learn to give up control.

"I don't want lessons in seduction. I want lessons in submission."

Since Nate is not interested in love this is the perfect business arrangement. Nate was always attracted to Casey. This opportunity provided him a way of having his cake and eating it too.

"You want this,Casey? You really want this? No feelings, no strings, just lessons?" "Yes"

What sounded like a game plan soon slowly started unraveling. At first there are steamy lessons that soon it turns into jealous bouts. Their feelings begin to grow but they each have their own obstacles to overcome.

I loved Casey, although her parents divorced as soon as she left home, she continues to seek true love.  She is an alpha female at work and in the bed. Her pursuit of 'The Big Love' art work, which is symbolic of her hopes and dreams, is endearing. She only has to learn to accept herself to find true love. Nate ego maybe too big for his own good. He has to learn to trust and let go of his past in order to love again. The combination of both characters makes this book hard to put down. Their story is passionate and heart warming.
